The purpose of children home is providing shelter, food and education for the neediest children who come from the remote villages of Kodai hills. The home aims to inculcate a holistic formation to these children so as to assist them to grow as matured human beings. The homes provide a lot of opportunities to the children to attain the aim. The children also actively participate in all the activities such as sports and games, singing and dancing, developing communicative skills, value based seminars etc. The children’s home is run in two locations in Shembaganur.
- Inigo children’s home is located in the premises of Sacred Heart College, Shenbaganur. There are 83 boys and girls at the primary school level.
- Inigo Boys home is located at the premises of St Xavier’s garden, Shenbaganur. Forty boys from 6th standard to 12th standard stay there.
